The only grievance in the Petition was Respondents, in particular Respondent Nos. 5 to 8, were not complying with the orders/directions dated 21st December 2018 issued by the Divisional Commissioner, Pune with regards to extending the size and increasing the depth of government water stream, which is running in between the agricultural land owned by Petitioner and some of Respondents in Gut Nos.766, 767, 768 and 793.

Before we could consider the matter on merits, learned AGP informed the Court that work had already commenced to extend the size and increase depth of water stream.

Mr. Bhosale did not dispute that but stated that only 80% of the work has been completed.

Ms. Vyas on instructions from one Y. L. Thorat, District Water Conservation Officer, Satara stated that the work is expected to be completed by 31st December 2023.

In view of the statement made, we dispose the Petition. 6.

Petition disposed.
