By the order dated 8th September 2016, investigation in FIR No.31 of 2015 was transferred from Tilak Nagar Police Station, Dombivali (East), to Crime Branch, Thane City. The court also directed to file status report of the investigation on the next date.

21-WP-2179-2016.doc Accordingly, learned APP placed on record report dated 19th December 2016 by Senior Police Inspector, Crime Branch Unit III, Kalyan. Report shows that the investigation into the said C.R. is in progress.

In above circumstances, there is no need to keep the petition pending. Suffice to direct the DCP Crime Branch, Kalyan, to supervise the investigation into the said C.R., and take appropriate action.

Ordered accordingly.
