This matter was argued on 19th April 2024 for a substantial period. However, as this Court has shown its disinclination to grant bail, Mr. Rokade, learned Counsel for the Applicant sought time to take instructions.

Today, Mr. Rokade, learned Counsel for the Appliant states that he has instructions to withdraw the Bail Application, however, he states that as the Applicant is incarcerated since 7th July 2021, liberty be granted to file a fresh Bail Application after a reasonable period, if there is no substantial progress in the trial. Accordingly, the Bail Application is allowed to be withdrawan.

The Applicant is granted liberty to file a fresh Bail Application after a period of 10 months, if there is no substantial progress in the trial.

The Bail Application is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.
