Pending appeal, applicant seeks suspension of sentence passed in the Sessions Case No.12 of 2019 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Ratnagiri whereby applicant has been convicted for the ofences punishable under Sections 353, 332, 341 and 504 of Shivgan 1/4
the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and sentenced to sufer simple imprisonment for a year and fne of Rs.20,500/-. Since the sentence is for short term, same has been suspended by the learned Sessions Judge vide order dated 29th February, 2020 passed below Exhibit 39. In view of the facts of the case and the sentence being for a short term, impugned sentence is suspended and applicant is directed to be released on bail in terms of the order dated 29th February, 2020 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge below Exhibit 39.
Application is allowed and disposed of in aforesaid terms.
