The petitioners filed applications for seeking caste certificate of Koli Mahadev Scheduled Tribe. The applications are rejected. The appeal filed by the petitioners is dismissed. Aggrieved thereby, the present petition.

We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the respondents.

The real sister of the petitioner no.1, Varsha Subrav Koli had also applied for the caste certificate, the same was rejected. She filed Writ Petition bearing No. 9672 of 2022. The Division Bench of this Court under Order dated 20th August, 2022 allowed the writ petition and directed the concerned SDO to issue caste certificate of Koli Mahadev Scheduled Tribe.

In view of the order of Division Bench of this Court, in the case of real sister of the petitioner no.1, the impugned orders are quashed and set aside.

The concerned authority shall issue caste certificate to all the petitioners, of Koli Mahadev Scheduled Tribe, immediately. The said caste certificate naturally will have to undergo the acid test of scrutiny before the committee while getting the validity certificate. 6.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
