In a case of theft of electricity, civil liability has been determined. The original applicant was directed to pay a sum of Rs. 45 lakhs and something more towards the electricity charges of stolen electricity. The said order is under challenge herein. Pending this application, the applicant passed away. His legal heirs are sought to be brought on record.

For the reasons given in the application, the same is allowed in terms of prayer clause (A).
