This is an application for suspension of sentence and grant of bail. Applicant has been convicted vide judgment and order dated 13th April 2023 by Sessions Court, Pune for offences u/s.354, 342, 506, 509 of IPC and maximum period of imprisonment is of two years. The trial Court had suspended the period of imprisonment on the date of conviction to enable the applicant to prefer appeal. Considering that sentence imposed is of short term, sentence can be suspended.

ORDER

(i) Interim Application is allowed and disposed off; (ii) The substantive sentence of imprisonment imposed vide
