DATE : 19th AUGUST, 2015 P.C.

.

Time is sought on behalf of the Petitioner. We find from the averments made in Civil Application No.1889 of 2015 that even according to the case of the Petitioner, the building subject matter of the Writ Petition has been demolished. By making the said Civil Application, the Petitioner is seeking relief of directing the first Respondent to provide necessary temporary alternate premises. The relief is sought even against the second to fourth Respondents.

Considering the prayers in the Petition, in view of the demolition of the building, nothing survives in this Petition and the same is accordingly disposed of. As far as the prayers in Civil Application No.1889 of 2015 are concerned, the Petitioner will have to adopt appropriate remedy. We, therefore, dispose of the application by keeping the remedy of the Petitioner expressly open. (K.R. SHRIRAM, J ) (A.S. OKA, J )
