Date : October 9, 2017.
P. C. :
1.
The application is sent through jail with a prayer for bail and in the alternative expeditious disposal of appeal. Earlier, the Applicant had filed an application seeking bail on merits, i.e., Criminal Application No. 431 of 2016. The same was turned down by this Court vide order dated 12th April 2016. There is no change in the circumstances thereafter. We are, therefore, not inclined to entertain the prayer for bail. So far as the relief of expeditious hearing of appeal is concerned, we find that appeal is of the year 2013, the paper book is ready and Applicant is in custody since last more than 7 years. We, therefore direct the Registry to place the appeal on final hearing board in the week commencing from 11th December 2017. Application stands disposed of.
