Heard Mr. Mohite, learned Senior Counsel for the applicant and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

Vide order dated 5th November, 2019, this Court requested the learned Special Court to commence the trial at the earliest and conclude it preferably within six months Shivgan 1/3

from the receipt of the order.

Obviously, due to prevailing Covid-19 Pandemic, trial has neither commenced nor concluded within six months. Thus, this application is fled seeking bail. The learned Addition Public Prosecutor on instructions submits that though the charge has been framed, victim and the mother of the victim are in United Kingdom. Both these witnesses will come to India in 4th week of March, I.e, around 22nd March, 2021. Statement is accepted.

In consideration of the facts of the case, the learned Special Court is directed to commence and conclude the trial on or before 25th June, 2021. Shivgan 2/3

It is made clear that if the trial is not concluded within period as stated above, applicant is granted liberty to move this Court and renew request for bail. Application is disposed of in aforesaid terms. (SANDEEP K. SHINDE, J.) Shivgan 3/3
