This application was preferred when the lawyers from Pune Court were on strike and therefore this Court has entertained it and granted interim protection to the applicants/ accused who are facing charges for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 409, 420, 465, 467 and 468 of the Indian Penal Code. Now the strike of the lawyers is called-off and all the Sessions Courts at Pune are functioning. Hence, the learned counsel for the applicants/accused may file a fresh application before the Sessions Court, Pune.
