Heard Mr.Prakash Naik, the learned counsel for the applicant.

The applicant's previous application for bail was rejected by me (Bail Application No.918 of 2014, decided on 11th August 2014). Now, the prayer for bail is renewed primarily on avk 1/2

5-BA-1248-2015.doc the ground that the applicant has remained in custody since October 2013, and that, the trial is still not over. It was already observed by me while rejecting the applicant's previous application for bail that their existed a prima facie case against the applicant. I am informed that the trial has commenced and the evidence of the first witness for the prosecution has already been recorded.

Under these circumstances, I am not inclined to release the applicant on bail.

The application is rejected.

The trial court shall expedite the matter and endeavour to dispose it of, as early as possible. (ABHAY M. THIPSAY, J.) avk 2/2
