The grievance raised in the present petition is for seeking transfer from Kolhapur Central Prison to Varanasai Central Prison, U.P. The Petitioner has been convicted for capital punishment which is commuted to life imprisonment. Learned APP has submitted a report dated 12.06.2022 prepared by the Superintendent of Kolhapur Central Prison, Kalamba which states that the Petitioner is required to undergo imprisonment of 30 years before he would stand released along with fine of Rs. 13000/-. The report is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. The Petitioner has undergone 18 years of imprisonment along with various remissions.

In view of the above, the grievance of the Petitioner does not survive. Hence, the writ petition stands disposed of. 4.
