Mr. Aurup Dasgupta learned Counsel for the petitioner, in Writ Petition No. 6699 of 1999 places on record order dated 02.07.2018 made in Appeal No. 181 of 2015 and submits that in the light of the said order, nothing survives in Writ Petition No. 6699 of 1999. He seeks leave to withdraw Writ Petition No. 6699 of 1999. Leave is granted as prayed for and Writ Petition No. 6699 of 1999 is disposed of as withdrawn.

So far as Writ Petition No. 6865 of 1999 is concerned Mr. Aurup Dasgupta learned Counsel who appears for the respondent in the said Writ petition states that in pursuance of the aforesaid order dated 02.07.2018, the petitioners in the said petition have already handed over the peaceful and vacant possession of the suit premises to the parties to whom he represents. He, therefore, submits that nothing survives in Writ Petition No. 6865 of 1999 as well. Today, neither the petitioners nor their advocates in Writ Petition 6865 of 1999 are present, therefore, without going into the issue as to whether the reliefs in the said Writ Petition survives or not, writ Petition No. 6865 of 1999 is dismissed for non prosecution.

The Civil Application does not survive and the same is also disposed of.
