The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that after filing of the present writ petition, the petitioner has got the knowledge that the application for compassionate appointment is rejected.

In light of that learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition and assail the order rejecting application for compassionate appointment.

The writ petition, as such, is disposed of as withdrawn. The petitioner may assail the order rejecting the application for compassionate appointment on its own merits as may be permissible in law. In that event all contentions are left open. No costs.
