The petitioner seeks directions to decide the application fled by the petitioner under Section 32 of the Maharashtra Prevention of Fragmentation and Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1947.

The Scheme has been sanctioned in the year 1972. According to the petitioner, in the year 1982, changes were made with regard to the holdings. The petitioner has fled the application for modifcation of the Scheme purportedly under Section 32 of the Maharashtra Prevention of Fragmentation and Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1947 only in the year 2020. Naturally, the Offcer concerned will have to consider the aspect of delay also.
