The Petitioner is praying for quashment of the notification issued on 1st January, 2016, whereby the name of the revenue village 'Ulumb' has been changed and the village is renamed as 'Balakawadi'. At the first instance, the Petitioner has not been prejudicially affected on account of change in name of the revenue village. The Gramsabha of village has adopted the resolution in the meeting dated 27th November, 2011, approving change in name of the revenue village 'Ulumb' with a majority of 139 villagers voting in favour of the resolution and only four opposing the resolution. The change in the name of revenue village 'Ulumb' has been enforced since 2016. In the facts of the case, in 1/2
