The present applicant is seeking regular bail in Crime No. 242/2015 for the offence punishable under Sections 376 (F) (I) (N), 354 (A), 506 (2), 509 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 4, 8 and 12 of the POSCO Act.

Perused the charge-sheet. There is sufficient material available against the applicant so as to infer his prima facie involvement in the crime in question. Looking into the nature of allegations and the statements of the witnesses including the wife of the applicant, no case for grant of bail is made out. Hence, the application is rejected. Fees payable to the learned counsel, who is appointed by this Court, is quantified at Rs.2,500/-. [ N. W. SAMBRE, J.]
