The learned counsel for the applicant on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the application with a request to expedite the trial. It is submitted that the prosecution has cited 63 witnesses out of which 8 are examined.

The learned APP points out that the prosecution may not examine all the witnesses.

In such circumstances, the Criminal application is disposed of as withdrawn.

The trial stands expedited. The learned Special Judge shall proceed to hold the trial as expeditiously as possible and an endevour shall be made to conclude the same within a period of six months from the receipt of this order.

Parties to co-operate for the expeditious hearing of the matter in the trial.

Liberty to the Applicant to renew the request for bail, if the trial is not concluded within six months.
