This is an application for condonation of delay of 211 days in filing Criminal Revision Application. 2.

Learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that the Applicant is a poor fisherman and it is very difficult for him to pursue the matter upto the High Court level. He found it very difficult to engage an Advocate. He did not have sufficient financial means to prefer the application. His Deshmane(PS)

44.IA-2844-23.odt mother-tongue is Tamil and he was unable to give instructions to his Advocate who could not understand Tamil. All this has contributed in causing delay in filing the Revision Application.

Learned counsel for the Respondent opposed this delay application. He submitted that the delay of 211 days is not properly explained.

However, considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the Applicant and in the interest of justice and also to afford an opportunity to the Applicant to argue his case on merits, the delay in preferring Criminal Revision Application is condoned. Revision Application be processed further.
