The learned counsel for the applicant, upon instructions, after arguing at length, seeks liberty to withdraw the application. Liberty as prayed for is granted in the interest of justice. 2.

From the compilation of the charge-sheet, it appears that material witnesses would be the victim herself, the teacher, the mother and two social workers. The charge-sheet is filed against the applicant under Sections 354, 504, 509, 324 and 323, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and under the provisions of Sections 8 and 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act,2012. The learned Special Judge is hereby requested

Mhi 2 BA-1299-16.sxw to make an endeavour to conclude the recording of evidence in Special Case No.265 of 2016 as far as possible within four months from the date of framing of charge 3.
