In terms of clause (e) of the order dated 9th May 2014 in Writ Petition No.6239/12, apparently, the applications of the petitioners are considered, and allotment of land is also made. The grievance seems to be that out of 12 Hectares of land, possession only in respect of 6 Hectares of land is handed over though allotment made in respect of other 6 Hectares of land in the month of October 2016, possession is not yet handed over. However, Government Advocate assures that possession of the land also will be handed over within eight weeks from today. Considering the above assurance, we close the contempt proceedings reserving liberty to the petitioner to revive the petition if the undertaking is not complied with. (G.S.KULKARNI, J.)
