The Applicants are admitted to the interim protection by a common order passed on 12/08/2021, recording a prima facie case in their favour.

For the purposes of investigation, they were directed to report to the police station as a condition imposed vide clause (c) of the order.

Today, the learned APP makes a statement that the Applicants have attended the police station in terms of the directions and have also rendered all their assistance to the Investigating Offcer.

In view of the prima facie case being recorded in favour of the Applicants, their custodial interrogation is not warranted nor it is insisted by the prosecution. In such circumstances, order dated 12/08/2021 in favour of the Applicants is made absolute. As far as the condition of attendance is concerned, it is directed that the Applicants shall attend the police station as and when required by the Investigating Offcer.

The applications stand disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
