1] This is an application sent through jail by the applicant who is an under trial prisoner in C.R.No.15 of 2014 registered with Kasturba Marg Police Station, Mumbai for reduction of the bail amount.

2] By an order dated 28th January 2015, this Court (Kode, J) directed applicant to be released on bail on his executing P.R.Bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount along with other conditions. The applicant in his application has stated that his financial condition is precarious and his family

YBG appp540-15 members are unable to arrange for the surety for Rs.50,000/-. 3] As a matter of fact, the applicant was directed to be released on bail on 28th January 2015 and till date due to financial incapacity of the applicant, he could not avail the benefit of the said order and is still languishing in jail. In view of the above, I am inclined to modify the said bail condition by reducing to said amount to Rs.25,000/- from Rs.50,000/-.

Hence, the following order:- (i) Condition of execution of P.R.Bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount as imposed upon the applicant by order dated 28th January 2015 is hereby directed and the applicant is directed to furnish P.R.Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount. It is however made clear that rest of the conditions imposed upon the applicant by order dated 28th January 2015 are not disturbed. (ii) The application is allowed in the aforesaid terms; (A.S.GADKARI, J)
