By these petitions, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, Petitioners are seeking direction against the Respondents to allot the Petitioner alternate land being project affected person under the Maharashtra Project Affected Persons Rehabilitation Act, 1999. 3.

In the present proceedings, it is the case of the Petitioner that the Respondents acquired their land some time in the year 1959 and failed and neglected to provide them alternate land. Hence, they preferred the present Writ Petitions.

When this Court declined to entertain the present Writ Petitions on the ground of delay and latches of more than 60 years, the learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that he received instruction from his client to withdraw all these Petitions unconditionally. Same is accepted. To that effect, the learned counsel for the Petitioner has given in writing. Same is taken on record and marked 'X' for identifcation. Same is accepted.

All the Writ Petitions stand dismissed as withdrawn. 6.

No order as to costs.
