Prayer of the petitioner is for grant of furlough. On earlier occasion, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of furlough was rejected on the ground that he has misused the liberty by remaining absconding for a period of 6123 days. 2.

The fact remains that the petitioner was apprehended and is behind the bar since 4th February, 2014 i.e. almost more than nine years.

Considering the long sufferance of the petitioner for a period of nine years and having regard to the good conduct in the prison, we deem it appropriate to allow the prayer of the petitioner BGP.

for grant of furlough for a period of 28 days on following conditions:- (a) Petitioner shall furnish details of the place where he will be staying, to the jail authority before his release along with the contact number of the person with whom he shall be staying.

(b) Petitioner shall report to the police station within whose jurisdiction he shall be residing on every 3rd day of English calendar month.

(c) Petitioner shall furnish an undertaking in the form of affidavit that he shall be surrendering on the given date as shall be directed by the jail authorities. 4.

The petition stands allowed in above terms.
