The applicant was admitted to interim protection vide order dated 04/07/2022, by recording that in the wake of the accusations levelled in the complaint, the applicant is not the developer, but was only coordinating between the developer and the occupiers of the premises. In pursuance of the direction issued, the applicant has reported to the police station and this statement is not disputed by the learned A.P.P. M.M.Salgaonkar

In the wake of the role assigned to him in the complaint, no custodial interrogation is warranted. Necessarily the order dated 04/07/2022 is made absolute, subject to the stipulation that he shall continue to render his co-operation to the Investigating Offcer.
