C. :- By consent of the learned counsels for the respective parties, the petition is disposed of by passing the following order :- (i) The Respondent No.3 - The Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Sangli is directed to dispose of the proposal of petitioner dated 26th November, 2013 which was addressed to the Respondent No.5 - The Head Master, Dyandeo Sawant High School, Bastawade, Taluka Tasgaon, District Sangli regarding the upgradation of pay scale of the petitioner, copy of which is annexed at page 78 of the petition (Exhibit -C), as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period

(ii) It is made clear that we have not gone into the merits of the petitioner's claim and petitioner's representation shall be decided independently and in accordance with the law after hearing the petitioner and other concerned officer and this order should not be construed as an expression of opinion on merits. (iii) The petitioner shall remain present before the Respondent No.3 - The Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Sangli on 09th April, 2018 alongwith the copy of the said proposal and copy of this order in order to enable the Respondent No.3 to comply with this order. Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
