Perused the order dated 17th February 2017. Clause-3 of the said order directs that if the petitioner fails to deposit a sum of Rs.1 lakh within a period of four weeks from the said date, the petition shall stand dismissed. Only if the amount is deposited within the stipulated period, the petitioner was permitted to convert this writ petition in to a public interest litigation. Admittedly, the amount has not been deposited. It appears that the petitioner applied for modification of the said order dated 17th February 2017. However, the said application was rejected by the order dated 20th December 2017.

Hence, in view of conditional order dated 17th February 2017, this petition stand dismissed.
