The applicants are charge-sheeted for the offence of murder along with offences punishable under Sections 201, 365, 380, 392, 404, 420, 465, 457, 468, 471 of the IPC under C.R. No.174 of 2012. The application is received through jail, seeking their release on bail.

Learned A.P.P. states that the applicants are presently tried in Sessions Case No.161 of 2017 in the court of Dindoshi. In all, 26 witnesses are examined on behalf of the prosecution and three more witnesses are yet to be examined. She states that the trial is at the fag end and makes a categorical statement that it will be concluded within two months from today.

Accepting the said statement made by learned A.P.P. that the trial shall be concluded within two months from today, the application is disposed off.

The applicants are at liberty to renew the application, in case the trial is not concluded as above.

Let the aforesaid order be communicated to the prisoners/applicants, presently housed in Thane Central Jail, through Superintendent of Jail.
