The petitioner claim to be the Head Master at the school run by the respondent No.2-Trust. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that despite the proposals dated 24/03/2021 and 03/05/2021 having been forwarded to the Education Officer (Secondary) seeking approval to his appointment as Head Master, the same have not been decided. On the contrary on 30/07/2021 the Education Officer was pleased to grant the signing authority to another Assistant Teacher for a period of three months. 1/2

On hearing the learned counsel for the parties it appears that there is a dispute in the Management that has resulted in the orders of promotion being issued to various Assistant Teachers. Be that as it may, considering the fact that the proposals dated 24/03/2021 and 03/05/2021 have been forwarded to the Education Officer, he is directed to consider those proposals after hearing all the concerned parties and to take a decision thereon. Such decision be taken preferably within a period of eight weeks from receipt of this order. The proposal be decided in accordance with law. Parties shall remain present before the Education Officer (Secondary) on 04/05/2022.

With these directions the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
