Mr. Khairdi, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the question involved in these petitions is covered by the order dated 21st September, 2013 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in the case of Kiran Namdeo Shinde & Ors. v. State of Maharashtra & Ors. in Writ Petition No.2358 of 2013 and other connected writ petitions. He submitted that these petitions may be disposed of by directing the appropriate authority to consider and take an appropriate decision on the petitioner's claim. He submitted that the petitioners shall submit representations before the competent authority within two weeks from today. Mr. Kakde, learned AGP does not dispute this position.

In view of the aforesaid statement, as agreed to by learned counsels for the parties, these petitions are disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to submit their respective representations before the competent authority within two weeks. On receipt of the same, the competent authority shall examine the same and, in case, the petitioners case is based on the decision of the Division Bench in
Kiran Namdeo Shinde (supra), an appropriate decision and consequential relief may be granted in their favour within four months from the date of receipt of such representation. Ordered accordingly.
