Learned counsel appearing for the applicant, on instructions, informs that the applicant shall not leave India before 15th December, 2021. Since the statement is made on instructions, the same is accepted as an undertaking to this Court.

With the assistance of respective counsel, I have perused the order of the Court below. The applicant, pursuant to the last order of this Court surrendered his mobile phone so also furnished bank statement thereby depicting transfer of an amount of Rs.12,00,000/- to the complainant.

In the aforesaid background, in my opinion, a case for confirmation of ad-interim protection is made out. Hence, following order.

O R D E R

i) In the event of arrest in Crime No. 89 of 2020, registered with Vartak Nagar, Thane Police Station, for the offence punishable under Sections 376, 420, 406 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, the applicant be released on bail on his executing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/-/- with one or more sureties in the like amount; (ii) The applicant shall report to the concerned Police Station from 25th October to 28th October, 2021 between 10.00 am to 12.00 noon. and thereafter as and when directed.

3/3 (iii) The applicant shall not influence the prosecution witnesses or tamper with the evidence and shall not establish contact with the complainant directly or indirectly.

(iv) The applicant shall furnish his permanent residential address and contact number to the Investigating Officer forthwith. 4.
