On 21/03/2022, the applicant was released on bail, on furnishing bail bond to the tune of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties.

Learned counsel for the applicant states that the applicant is unable to furnish bail bond of Rs.25,000/- on the ground that she is a poor lady and her husband has committed suicide. Her minor child is also living in Child Welfare Centre. M.M.Salgaonkar

2/2 58 IA-2408-22.doc Apart from this, it is stated that the applicant is HIV positive patient and her condition is deplorable.

On the last date of hearing, learned A.P.P. was directed to ascertain the antecedents and today, she reports that there is none.

Considering the peculiar situation faced by the applicant, I am inclined to reduce the amount of bail bond to Rs.15,000/- and also permit release of the applicant on cash surety for a period of four weeks.

The application is allowed in terms of prayer clauses (a) and (b).
