P.C.
The learned counsel for the petitioner very fairly states that the Investigating Officer has done his utmost at tracing the whereabouts of the missing child, but unfortunately the labour of the Investigating Officer has not yielded any fruits. In that light of the matter, therefore, the learned counsel for the petitioner states on instructions that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw this petition.
cri-wp-2419-12 We accordingly permit the petitioner to withdraw this petition and direct the Investigating Officer to continue with the investigation with the same zeal and enthusiasm as shown earlier. We further direct the Investigating Officer to examine any clues, if furnished by the petitioner relating to the whereabouts of the missing child. This writ petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid directions. In the circumstances, there shall be no order as to costs.
