The Applicant had earlier approached this Court vide LD/VC/DIST/Criminal Bail Application No.197/2020, which was rejected by a reasoned order dated 25.8.2020. The facts of the case were considered and reasons were given for rejecting the application.

Today, the same Applicant has preferred another application for the same relief on the same grounds. The only additional ground is that since 25.8.2020 when the application was rejected, there has been no progress in the trial. However, it is a well known fact that since past two years, the functioning of the Courts were badly affected due to spread of COVID-19. Deshmane
