By this petition, the petitioner seeks the following substantive relief :

(a) that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue appropriate writ order and direction directing the Respondent No. 1 to forthwith take cognizance of the complaint of the Petitioners being complaint dated 15/04/2017, 23/01/2018 and statement of petitioner recorded on 6th Oct, 2017 on such terms by RAJESHWARI RAMESH PILLAI Date:

Considering the grievance made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, that the police have not taken cognizance of the petitioner's complaints dated 15th April 2017, 23rd January 2018 as well as the statement recorded on 6th October 2017, on the last date we had directed the Senior Police Inspector of Nigdi Police Station to remain present. Pursuant thereto, the Senior Police Inspector of Nigdi Police Station is present today. 3.

Learned APP has tendered a report dated 1st June 2019. From the said report it appears that after conducting a preliminary inquiry into the complaints made by the petitioner, the said complaints have been closed. The said report is taken on record.

In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in the petition. Petition stands disposed of. 5.

Needless to state, it is open for the petitioner to take appropriate steps as permissible in law.

We make it clear, that we have not gone into the merits of the complaints or the petitioner's statement and as such leave all contentions of all parties open.
