Learned APP placed on record communication made by the Additional Director General of Police to the Secretary, Home Department dated 16th April, 2016. Another communication made by the Additional Director General of Police addressed to the Director General of Police, Maharashtra State, Mumbai dated 4th April, 2016 is also placed on record. These communications are submitted by the police administration for taking necessary steps for recruiting temporary contract basis Fingerprint Experts, Hand-writing Experts.

We direct the Principal Secretary, Government of Maharashtra to take up the issue on priority basis in the light of the proposal submitted to the Ministry.

In the present case, APP submits that within three weeks, the investigating officer is likely to get the Expert's report. After the Expert's report is submitted we direct the investigating agency to submit appropriate report. 4.

It is submitted that the Police Inspector is investigating the matter. The final report shall be submitted under the supervision of the Senior Police Inspector. The petition is disposed of.

Registry to forward a copy of this order to the Principal Secretary, Government of Maharashtra, Mantralaya, Mumbai.
