Though the order dated 31.12.2013 passed by the Sub Divisional Officer, Vasai, has been challenged by the above Petition, the Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner during the course of the argument would contend that the Petitioner would be satisfied if the Appeal which is filed against the said order dated 31.12.2013 before the Collector, Thane is directed to be disposed of within a particular time frame since the same is pending after it is filed in May, 2014. In my view, it would be just and proper to direct the Collector, Thane to decide the Appeal latest by 31.07.2015. With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Needless to state that the Appeal would be decided on its own merits and in accordance with law. [R.M. SAVANT, J] BGP.
