Heard the learned advocate for the applicant on this application for condonation of delay. There is delay of ten days in preferring the appeal challenging the conviction for the offence punishable under sections 451 and 354 of IPC. It is stated that the applicant was under impression that 90 days period was available to him to prefer the appeal challenging his conviction. But after getting the legal advise, it was transpired that within 60 days appeal was to be preferred and as such there is delay of ten days. Considering the cause in preferring the appeal, the delay is condoned. Application is disposed of. Criminal Appeal (St) No. 655/2015 is admitted. Call for R and P.
