The learned Counsel for the parties state that the matter is settled between the parties and the Respondent/Management has agreed to pay a sum of Rs. 2,50,000/- in full and final settlement of the claim of the Petitioner.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner has taken instructions from the Petitioner who is present in Court. He states that the proposal of the Respondent/Management is acceptable to the Petitioner. Sameer 1 of 2

The statement of learned Counsel for the Respondent/Management is accepted as an undertaking that a sum Rs. 2,50,000/- shall be paid to the Petitioner in full and final settlement of his claim (including his dues) within a period of two weeks. On the request of learned Counsel for the Petitioner, it is recorded that the said amount shall be treated as back wages of the Petitioner for the period June 2002 to July 2005.

The Writ Petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. No order as to costs.
