This is an application seeking permission to travel abroad i.e. USA and Singapore from 10th August, 2017 to 3rd September,2017. 2.
The applicant has preferred an application for anticipatory bail before this Court in connection with C.R. No.166 of 2016 registered with Azad Maidan Police Station, Mumbai. The said application is pending before this Court with interim protection granted in favour of the applicant. It is submitted that the applicant is required to travel abroad as stated hereinabove for making arrangement of 1/3
Vina k sr.930.appp.569.2017.doc admission of his son in University of Southern California, Los Angeles in USA. On his return journey from USA, he wants to visit his relative in Singapore from 29th August, 2017 to 3rd September, 2017. 3.
Learned advocate for the applicant submitted that the applicant is a permanent resident of Mumbai and his family is residing in Mumbai. He has business and property in Mumbai. The applicant would return within stipulated time. 4.
Learned APP on instructions submitted that permission to travel abroad can be granted on certain terms and conditions. 5.
Taking into consideration the averments made in the application and the argument advanced by the counsel for the applicant, the permission as sought to travel abroad to USA and Singapure from 10th August, 2017 to 3rd September, 2017 can be granted on certain terms and conditions. Hence, I pass following order;
:: ORDER ::
(i) The applicant is permitted to travel to USA and Singapore from 10th August, 2017 to 3rd September, 2017. 2/3
Vina k sr.930.appp.569.2017.doc (ii) The applicant is directed to furnish all the details about places of visit and contact numbers to the Investigating Officer before travelling abroad.
(iii) The applicant shall furnish the cash security of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three lakhs only.). The cash security shall be deposited by the applicant in this Court before travelling abroad.
(iv) The applicant shall report to the Investigating Officer after he returns to India within 48 hours after his return. (v) Application No.569 of 2017 stands disposed of. [PRAKASH D. NAIK, J.] 3/3
