The above Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction that the applications made by the individual members of the Petitioner Union for registration with the Security Guard Board has not been considered and disposed of by the Board. The Learned Counsel for the Respondent No.1 states that the Security Guard Board conducts the physical and medical examination once there are sufficient number of applications with the Board for registration with it. The Learned Counsel further states that such tests were held between 19-6-2018 to 21-6-2018 and now the next tests would be conducted in the year 2019.
In our view, having regard to the fact that the registration of the guards would be after they subject themselves to the physical and medical mmj

It would be open for the said members of the Petitioner Union to file fresh applications to the Board for their registration within 8 weeks from date. If any such applications are filed by the concerned members of the Petitioner Union who had filed their applications in the year 2014, the Board is directed to consider them and subject the said members to the physical and medical test when next held in the year 2019 or earlier and communicate the decision of the Board thereafter to the concerned members.
