The Petitioner, who has retired after serving in Respondent No.6 - College conducted by the Respondent No.7 - Institution is awaiting pensionary benefits. As regard his entitlement to receive pensionary benefits, from the arguments advanced before us by the Respondent - State Government, the same is not in dispute. The reason given by the State is procedural formalities.

The Petitioner has superannuated on 30 June 2018 and yet the pension papers have not been processed. We are informed that there would be different agencies such as Institutions and University that would be involved in processing the papers for releasing the pension.

We place the responsibility of co-ordinating with the University and other Institutions of the State upon the Respondent No.3 - Divisional Joint Director, who will ensure that all the necessary formalities are completed and pension is released to the Petitioner, within three months. The other Respondents shall cooperate with the Respondent - 3 and whenever the Respondent No.3 would contact for the necessary papers, the same shall be supplied to him expeditiously so that the Respondent No.3 can adhere to the time line.
