The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that without deciding the objection of the petitioners, amount of compensation is already paid.

The learned A.G.P. appears for Respondent nos.2 to 5. 4.

In case the objection is filed by the petitioner under section 3H(4) of the National Highways Act, 1956 then the competent authority is required to decide the said objection in accordance with law.

If the objection filed by the petitioner is pending before him, competent authority shall take decision upon the said objection after hearing all the parties concerned expeditiously, preferably within four months from the date of communication of this order.

Depending upon the decision taken, further decision be taken by the authority about the payment of compensation.
