This is the second bail application preferred by the applicant. 2.

Vide order dated 21st January 2022, this Court granted time to the learned APP to produce the evidence of the complainant, as there was disagreement between the learned counsel appearing for the applicant and the learned APP, with respect to whether the trial had commenced or not. Considering the same, the learned APP was granted time to produce the 1/3

evidence of the complainant. Today, the learned APP has produced a copy of the evidence of PW 1. From the said evidence, it is clear that the trial has commenced and PW 1 is in the witness-box. 3.

Since the trial has commenced, it is not necessary to consider the applicant's application seeking bail.

Learned Counsel for the applicant also submits that since the trial has commenced, the trial be expedited.

Accordingly, without going into the merits, the trial of the applicant is expedited, more particularly, since the trial has already commenced. The learned Judge to conclude the case, as expeditiously as possible and in any event within 6 months from the date of receipt of this order. The learned Judge to preferably take up the case on day-to-day basis.

All parties to co-operate in the expeditious disposal of the trial.
