The petitioner and the advocate are absent. The writ petition is pending in this Court from February, 2013. It was placed today only to ascertain whether the Inspector of Police attached to the Nallasopara Police Station has complied with the order and direction of this Court dated 2nd February, 2017. The matter appeared on 8th March, 2017 on which date the petitioners advocate and even the APP were present. The matter was stood over to 15th March, 2017 and later on to 22nd March, SRP 1/2

ASWP2530.13.doc 2017. It has been stood over till today essentially to find out whether there is any possibility of settlement. The same appearances and with the same advocate representing the petitioners were displayed throughout. Even today, the same appearances and names of advocates are displayed. The names of the advocates and parties are correctly displayed. None are present.

The writ petition is, therefore, dismissed for want of prosecution.
