CORAM: DR. MANJULA CHELLUR, C.J. & N.M. JAMDAR, J.
DATE: 10th August, 2017 P.C.:- 1] In our experience, this Petitioner is in the habit of filing public interest litigations one after the other against the earlier employer as well as in other matters. As a matter of fact, we directed the Petitioner not to appear in person but to engage a Counsel, since he refused to take assistance from Legal Services Authority's Panel Advocate. Such observation had to be made by us since Petitioner was not able to understand the procedure and he was trying to explain irrelevant and unconcerned matter.
2] Now, the Petitioner has come with an idea of fire-fighting equipment to be installed as a must in all the medical shops. 1/2
PIL/55/2017 Definitely, Rules and Regulations pertaining to public premises prescribe as to how the buildings should have fire-fighting in-house equipments and if medical shops are also required to maintain such equipments, it is for the policy makers to make suitable procedure and give direction in that regard.
3] We are of the opinion that the lis raised in the present Public Interest Litigation does not call for any specific direction. Therefore the matter is closed.
