This is an application received through Jail. In the present application the applicant has stated that though Charge in Sessions Case No.760/2013 has been framed on 29.10.2013, the trial did not proceed. The learned counsel appearing for the applicant submitted that the applicant was arrested on 20.5.2013 and since then he is inside the Jail. He further submitted that as the applicant is in Jail for more than 2.1/2 years, his trial may be expedited and if possible may be conducted on day to day basis. 2) The learned APP on instruction submitted that the trial of the applicant has already began and as of today prosecution has examined two witnesses. She further on instructions submitted that the prosecution intends to examine approximately 70 more witnesses and it may take approximately one year to conclude the trial. 2 /2 of the fact that the applicant is in Jail from 20.5.2013 the learned Trial Court seized of the Sessions Case No.760/2013 is hereby requested to conclude the trial pertaining to Sessions Case No.760/2013 within a period of one year from today. Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms.

3) Before parting with the present order, this Court places on record the efforts put in by the learned counsel appointed for the applicant who has argued the present application after detailed preparation.

4) The Registry is hereby directed to communicate this order to the applicant who is lodged in Central Prison, Mumbai. (A.S. GADKARI, J.)
