The learned APP on instructions from the Investigating Officer submitted that in pursuance of the order dated 7.7.2016 the applicant has attended the Investigating Officer and co-operated in the process of investigation and the custodial interrogation of the applicant is not necessary. She further submitted that the applicant may be directed to attend the Investigating Officer till filing of the charge sheet.

In view of the above, the interim relief granted by an order dated 7.7.2016 is hereby confirmed. However, the applicant is directed to attend the Investigating Officer as and when called for between 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. till the filing of the charge sheet.

It is needless to mention that before calling the

2 /2ABA-1131-16-20 applicant to police station the Investigating officer shall issue notice under Section 160 of the Cr.P.C. 4.
